An ice cream
And maybe a vacation. One so awesome I would then need a vacation from said vacation.
Also maybe a pony.
Not really on the pony.
I am having a day of, shall we say, first world problems. No one should feel sorry for me.
They probably ought to kick me though.
Where's Beebo?! There she is!!!

I fully intend to kick you. For not telling me you were blogging again. HelLOO!
ok so i was googling about how my boyfriend who is a non-smoker starts to smoke and I don't like it and I came across your blog. He now smokes out of boredom and he is probably a social smoker (not often). I told him that if he ever smokes I'd break with him. Then he smoked. Forgiven. Gave him a last chance. Assured me he won't. 1 month later, discovered he had been smoking secretly.
what should I do? I love him a lot but he broke my heart again and again with the excuse of "Error in judgement". He said he loved me when I said he didn't take that chance seriously.
I need to make myself feel better. How did you cope? I'm really affected by this. I bawled my eyes out because I was so hurt that he lied. At least your bf didn't lie to you. At least you weren't kept in the dark...
Sally--Sorry, I just throw things up now and again.
Anonymous--It is possible that smoking is an absolute dealbreaker for you. With my fiancee and I the smoking isn't a dealbreaker due to our particular circumstances. I also do believe that he will quit smoking, although I cannot listen when he gives me a date because he has blown past them too many times for me to think taking that seriously is good for my mental health.
But those are our circumstances and if the smoking was able to be disentangled from that (it isn't in my case) it may well be a dealbreaker. I don't think there is anything wrong with it being a dealbreaker or with the lying that hurts your feelings being a dealbreaker. Only you can decide what is right for you.
